Ask about availabilityCalm lessons at your pace
Start by telling your instructor which situations feel difficult: moving off, busy junctions, meeting traffic, parking or the test itself. Discuss one manageable goal for the lesson and how you would prefer feedback. You do not need to arrive feeling confident; the aim is to build skills and confidence together through practice.
Neurodivergent learner support
K Driving School teaches learners with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and ADD, adapting lessons to each student's needs, learning style, and confidence level.

FAQs
What should I tell an instructor if I feel anxious about driving?
Explain your previous experience, the situations you find stressful and what helps you learn. You can ask about clear step-by-step instructions, time to process feedback and a plan for discussing a pause when needed. Agree an approach with your instructor before the lesson rather than feeling you have to hide your concerns.
Should a nervous learner choose automatic or manual lessons?
Automatic lessons remove clutch and gear changes, which some learners find easier to manage. Manual lessons may suit the car you want to drive. Both require observation and safe decision-making; discuss your goals, experience and available instructors instead of assuming one option guarantees a quicker pass.
Do you teach neurodivergent learners?
Yes. K Driving School's FAQ says instructors are experienced with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and ADD.
